diskuz is new, fresh, and built on top of the powerful Discourse platform — but with our own identity, our own style, and a clear mission:  
to create a place where people can _talk, connect, learn, and explore_ without friction.

We wanted a name that felt:

- fun to say

- instantly connected to the idea of _discussion_

“diskuz” sounds just like **“discuss”** , but with a unique twist that makes it stand out.  
It captures the spirit of what we want this community to be:  
a place where people come together to _diskuz_ anything — ideas, questions, passions, problems, discoveries, and stories.

It’s simple, it’s catchy, and it represents exactly what we’re building.

Even though diskuz is powered by Discourse, we’ve customized the experience to make it feel more dynamic, more intuitive, and more fun.

To make posting easier than ever, we’ve added a brand‑new floating button that follows you as you browse the site.

Inside the menu, you’ll also find a **public voice chat** , currently in **beta testing**.

This feature is experimental and still evolving and more updates will arrive as the feature matures.
